For over forty years, Betty Goodman has been invested in education. It wasn't until twenty years ago that she became personally connected with dyslexia.
In 2003, learning about dyslexia became a necessity for her when she realized her daughter was dyslexic. This experience has made it possible for Betty to understand not just what is necessary for a person with dyslexia to learn to read, but also about ways to make life easier for a person with dyslexia.

About Me
Who Is Betty Goodman?
Betty Goodman has been an educator for over 40 years. During those years she has taught in a variety of K-12 grade levels and has screened and tutored children and adults who were dyslexic. She has also spent 6 years as the Academic Counselor for a 250+ student Christian high school. She has written education units for Frank Schaeffer, and 20 stories for an online reading program.
Betty Goodman has spent the last several years living in Northern California helping to care for her aging mother. During that time, she started substitute teaching in the local public schools. Her passion is to help students learn to read or to improve their reading skills.
